An elite volleyball club based in Hamilton that provides female athletes the opportunity to train and compete in a high performance volleyball environment.
Built on passion and drive
Mountain Volleyball Club (MVC) is Hamilton’s premier elite volleyball club for female athletes. Founded 14 seasons ago by Jos Nederveen and Denis Levesque, MVC empowers players to grow in skill, confidence, and sportsmanship within a positive, high-performance environment.

We believe every athlete deserves the chance to shine—whether they’re picking up a volleyball for the first time or chasing national titles

- Provide novice athletes a fun, welcoming introduction to the sport

- Our Programs
Elite Performance (12U–18U)
- Season runs September through May with 2–3 weekly practices
- Compete for provincial and national championships
- October retreat at the Ontario Education Leadership Centre (OELC) for team bonding
Developmental & Recreational (MVP)
- VolleyTotz (JK–Grade 3): playful intro to volleyball
- House League & Summer Camps (Grades 3–8) at St. Mary’s Secondary
- Beach Volleyball at Hamilton’s Sandbox facility—play and compete all summer
- Coaching Excellence & Leadership
Our head coaches are NCCP-certified and include MVC alumni who understand our club culture.
The Mountain Volleyball Coaching Certification Program (MVCCP) mirrors NCCP standards to teach passionate athletes how to coach at community and club levels—building leadership from the ground up.
